Mafia Wars 2 Fighting has taken a whole new meaning, compared it to its text based predecessor Mafia Wars. Now loaded with some graphics, let’s take a look on this Mafia Wars 2 Guide on how to fight within the game.
How to fight NPCs or Other Players?
Basically, start a fight first by clicking over the valid desired target. This initiates your character to move in and perform actions depending on the type of weapon you have on hand. Zynga has even added some Kung-Fu moves if you don’t equip your character with anything at all! lol!
How to know if NPC player is a valid target or not?
The characters you see in the game have different purposes but in some maps you cannot even perform tasks on some characters walking about in the game, so try to travel about and find:
- Non hostile players, who you can rob have no special icon over the of their heads.
- Hostile players have a skull icon on their heads, meaning if you engage them by clicking, they will fight back.
- Characters with exclamation marks on the top of their heads gives out sides missions or even a main quest itself.
How to Win Fights?
Getting Stabbed
This is tough, specially that I myself am new into exploring more about the game. Overall, first hand experience taught me that GEAR is the main culprit if you find yourself having difficulty in winning over someone. Always try to buy the strongest armor and weapon, also perform main quests, killing off some quest NPC targets will give you some free items.
Heal Heal Heal
During some fights you are able to heal yourself with the use of cash, just click on the health bar when health is low and click on refill, this will fully heal your character. The cost depends on your health points, the more health you have, the higher the cost.
