One of the worst nightmares in an RPG gaming is losing track of the many NPC characters found in the game. With the introduction of Age of Titans AutoPath system, this greatly minimizes the burden of players in all that non playing character chaos.
How To Use The AutoPath System
The autopath system in Age of Titans can be used in many instances within the game. Here’s a list on how to fully automate your character on the desired path you wish to take.
- Using The Map Menu
Simply access the map menu within the game (Pressing the shortcut key “M” or by clicking on the mini map on top right of the game interface.
Once on the map screen, you can easily point out in any location available, this will prompt your character to move into that direction. Map coordinates can also be viewed as you scroll over the map, this is extremely useful when locating certain areas for bounty or treasure hunts.
On the right side of the map interface, you can also view different options such as:
- World Map (Displays a world view of all locations)
- Transporters/Warp areas (Displays Teleport NPC’s)
- Special NPC characters (Sundries, weapon shop, armor shop and more)
- Options to view or close enemy locations or NPC’s (Hide or show locations)
- Manual input of coordinates (Input number coordinates, very useful to locate wanted monsters or digging sites)
- Autopath button (used in conjunction with manual input of coordinates)
- Clicking on words with blue colored font’s
The word’s that are colored “blue” bear quick links to its location. Usually this is composed of NPC (non playing character) names, location of monsters, location of special areas, dungeons and more. Clicking on the blue worded font automatically initiates the AutoPath system, character then uses the fastest route available to reach it’s target location.
Note: AutoPath will not use any available transportation / teleport NPC’s within the game. It works best in locating certain areas within the same map.
- Clicking on a link location on your chat box
The chat box is a great way to find where your friends are in a certain map, simply ask them to share a link. The link can then be found on your chat box, click on it to start your the AutoPath system. Never get lost or left behind again!
How to share a link on your current location
In order to give our your Age of Titans map location to your friends for easy tracking, simply scroll over your mouse pointer on any part of the area you are in. Press the shift button and left click on your pointing device, this will automatically create a link (With coordinates and map name) in which you can send out as a message on your desired chat channel.
Using The World Map To Locate Monsters
In order to locate something that is not within your current map, open up the map menu (Pressing “M” shortcut key). Once opened, you can click around the different areas available and view the different types of monsters (with level information) and bosses.
If you click over the monster listed within the map, your character will automatically use the AutoPath system and travel into that certain location.
