The Colosseum is truly a place to test one’s courage for those who dare challenge its champion’s. Experience what it is to be a lone gladiator, up against an unfair number of enemies; slay those who oppose you mercilessly.

What Is The Colosseum?

The Eligium PH Colosseum is a short solo dungeon instance, where your main goal is to kill or get killed by the instance boss. For players who do succeed can receive Eligium PH titles (depending on winning streak), gold, training points and experience.

Where Is The Colosseum?

Players can find the Colosseum within the Eyfurri Elven City. Use your map menu to locate and navigate using the auto-route feature, to the Colosseum trainer.

How To Enter The Colosseum?

Gaining entry inside the Colosseum does not happen anytime of the day. A specific schedule is set daily, wherein players can enter.

Daily schedule of entry to the Colosseum:

• 17:00 – 22:00 +8 GMT PHT (Philippine Time).
• This translates into 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM daily.

Once the event schedule is active:

• Travel to the Elven City.
• Locate the Colosseum trainer found within the city, coordinates (232,362) .
• Speak to to Colosseum trainer to start a dialogue.
• To enter select “Take me there!”.
• You will then be transported inside the Colosseum.
  
• Once inside, prepare yourself for battle ahead.
• If  all is ready, speak to the trainer again.
• Select “Begin Battle” to challenge the Colosseum boss.
• You will directly be transported in the heat of battle with the boss.
• The boss will have 4 minions with him, but luckily some are dumb enough not to join in the fight.
  
• Kill the boss and finish off it’s minions, if your desire.
• Once the boss is dead, the Colosseum trainer will appear inside the arena circle.
• Talk to him to receive the rewards and to exit the Colosseum arena.
• You will now receive some gold, experience, training points, as a form of reward.
• You will also increase your kill streak by 1 if you are successful.

NOTE:

• YOU CAN ONLY ENTER THE COLOSSEUM ONCE PER DAY
• IF YOU EXIT THE COLOSSEUM WITHOUT FINISHING IT, IT IS CONSIDERED AS A LOSS 

What Are Kill Streaks For?

In order to receive a title from your victories in the Colosseum, players first accumulate a certain number of kill streaks. Each day a player can only be rewarded 1 kill (one entry) from the Colosseum.

What Are The Titles?

• The Barbarian
  - The first title can be obtained by accomplishing 15 kill streaks.
• The Bloodthristy Barbarian
  - Reach a kill streak of 35 to receive this title.
• The Slaughtering Barbarian
  -  Reach a kill streak of 60 to receive this title.
• The Ghost Barbarian
  -  Reach a kill streak of 90 to receive this title.

What Are Colosseum Titles For?

Aside from the bragging rights of being a bad-ass, each title can slightly boost the players attributes. The higher your rank, the better bonuses you will receive.

How Can I Check My Winning Streaks?

To check your Eligium PH Colosseum winning streaks, simply:

• Talk to the Colosseum trainor.
• Select “History Inquiry” in the dialogue.
• You should see the level of trial you are in and the number of winning streaks.
• To exit select the “Thanks, go back” dialogue.

How To Receive The Colosseum Title?

• Talk to the Colosseum Trainer
• Select the “Receive the title” dialogue
• Select the appropriate title you wish to receive
• Make sure you have the winning streaks to receive the title, else you will be prompted with an error “Your winning streak doesn’t match such a noble title”

Traditionally in most games, equipment identification or appraisal is always done by way of NPC (non-player character) but in Eligium PH, you are given the freedom to do so anywhere and anytime! Why Appraise Equipment?

Item appraisal is more like playing a game of chance, either you win big or end up with junk. The best advice I can give out to players is to “Appraise” only necessary equipment. Why? Because it’s rather costly to keep on appraising items which you can’t even use but, that is just my own point of view. Who knows, you might just end up appraising something worth to sell to other players.

What Do We Need To Appraise Equipment?

In order to appraise or identify equipment, players need to bear in mind two things:

1. Identification Stones
2. Knowledge Points

What Are Identification Stones?

Identification stones come in three main forms, namely:

1. Armor Identification Stone
2. Weapon Identification Stone
3. Trinket Identification Stone

Hold on, it doesn’t end there. These stones vary in level, so it’s best to take note by viewing what they are capable of “appraising”. For example:

1. Weapon Identification Stone Level 1-30
* This means that you can only appraise or identify weapons that are between level 1-30. Any weapons exceeding level 30 can’t be appraised or identified, players will have to obtain a higher weapon identification stone. Whether you are trying to appraise or identify armor or trinkets, the concept remains the same.

 Knowledge Points?

Aside from appraisal stones, players need to keep in check on the number of “Knowledge points” they have. These points are gained through various activities in the game; they can also be obtained from monster drops.

Ways To Obtain Knowledge Points:

1. Finishing Quests
2. Participating in some daily events
3. Reading scrolls (You can randomly find this from elites, bosses)

How To Read Scrolls?

To read scrolls from monster drops, simply:

1. Locate the scroll on your inventory or bag space
2. Once you find the scroll, right click and automatically you will gain some knowledge points.

How Much Knowledge Points Do I Have?

To get a glimpse of the number of knowledge points you currently have, follow:

1. Open your character menu, shortcut key “C”.
2. Notice you will find what you character is currently wearing; you need to expand the view to get more details.
3. Locate the “Arrow” key to expand the view. (Check the middle right corner of the menu)
4. Click on the arrow key to expand.
5. Once you expanded your view, you will now be able to find 3 different tabs (Just on top of the expanded menu) in which to switch.
6. Each tab contains the different details about your character.
7. Click on the 3^rd tab to access the information about the current knowledge points you have.

How To Appraise Equipment?

1. Check first the level of equipment to be appraised.
2. Locate the appropriate identification stone to be used on your inventory.
3. Simply “right click” on the appropriate identification stone.
4. You will notice that the cursor has changed into a magic wand.
5. Move the wand over the appropriate equipment to be appraised.
6. Click on the equipment and confirm the appraisal
7. Once done, the identification l stone and the corresponding knowledge points will be used up.

• At least 3 types of gems (minimum) of the same color and upgrade level
• The maximum number of gems to be combined is 5
• Having the minimum of 3 gems will yield a success rate of 25%
• For each identical gem added increases the success chance of 25%

How Do I Combine Gems?

Combing gems in Eligium PH is easy, simply follow the steps:

• Prepare all gems you need to combine on your inventory or bag menu
• Open the “Soul Circle” menu by pressing the shortcut key “U”
• Once opened, click on the “Galgaron Cube” found just below the menu
• Another menu should open up, by default it starts on the gem upgrade (combining)
  
• Notice there are 5 empty slots than can be filled and one box marked “treasure”
• With your inventory or bag opened, select the gem you wish to combine or upgrade
• Drag the appropriate gem into the slot. You must fill up the slots with identical gems or else it will automatically send them back into your inventory.
• Notice the chance of success increasing on the 4th and 5th gem placed.
• Once all slots are filled, you are now ready to combine them.
• Click on “Combine” to start the process.
• If the process fails, you will receive a system prompt and loose all the gems used.
• If the process succeeds, you will receive a system prompt and gain 1 gem with a higher upgrade level, in exchange.
• You can find the upgraded gem in your inventory or bag space.

Gem Combination Example:

• To get a level 1 ruby gem:
  > Place 5 identical basic ruby gems (you can tell by the image, those with no roman numerical value are the basic gems +0)
• To get a level 2 ruby gem:
  > Place 5 identical +1 ruby gems (you can find that the portrait of the gem has the roman number of I)
• The process continues as long as you can provide the identical gems needed to start an upgrade.

I Don’t Want To Fail!

Yes, its possible to upgrade gems without failure in Eligium PH. Remember the “Treasure” slot mentioned earlier? Follow on:

• Acquire a Gem Refinery (1-4) stone
• Presuming you can provide 5 identical gems
• Insert the Gem Refinery stone into the treasure box
• You will notice the “Rate” go up to “100%”
• You will now combine your gems safely without fail

Before you can start selling off your items using the Eligium PH consignment menu, locate the “Sell” tab and switch the vending menu.

The “Sell” Interface

• Trading Item Box – This is where you place the desired item / equipment you want to sell. Below you can also see the duration of how long the item is listed.
• Price – This is where players can input the price of the desired item to be listed.
• Confirm Button – Will list the item or equipment on sale for everyone to view.
• The Consignment Box – A large part of the “Sell” containing the list of items you are currently consigning. The Consignment Box contains the following info:
  > Item Name: Name  of the item or equipment sold
  > Time Remaining: Displays the number of hours the consigned item is up for sale.
  > Price – Price of the item you are currently selling
  > Status – Displays the current status of the consigned item.
• Take Gold – Takes gold of a single item sold.
• Take All Gold – Takes the gold of all items sold.

• Cancel All – Retrieves all items that have expired (not sold) back into your inventory space.

Selling Status Of Consigned Items

• On Sell (Blue) – The consigned item is actively listed.
• Expired (Yellow) – The consigned item is unsold and inactively listed.
• Sold (Dark Orange) – The consigned item was successfully sold.

How To Put Up Items For Sale:

• Open the consignment menu and switch to the “Sell” tab.
• Open the inventory / bag menu (shortcut “B”). Locate the desired item or equipment to be put up on sale (remember you cannot add items directly from your warehouse, it must be from your bag).
• Drag the desired equipment into the “Trading Item Box”.
• Enter the price of item to be sold in the price box.
• Click on the confirm box to actively put the item on consignment.
• This allows the item to be viewed by anyone on your faction.

How To Claim Sold Items:

• Check regularly on your consignment menu on the status of the goods being sold.
• Once the status of an item is marked “Sold” (colored dark orange) you can now pick up the amount of gold from your listed price.
• To retrieve a single item sale, click on the particular item and click on “Take Gold”.
• To retrieve all the gold on multiple items sold, select “Take All Gold”.
• Funds from the item sold will now be transferred into your bag.

How To Claim and Relist Items Unsold:

• Check if the listed item on sale has already expired (Colored yellow).
• To re-list an item, players should cancel the auction first.
• Click on cancel all to retrieve the items back into your inventory space.
• Make sure you have at least 12 slots free on your bag to reclaim items.
• Repeat the process on “How To Put Up Items For Sale” to actively re-list.

I Can’t Put Items On Sale!

Poorly understood, some items in the game cannot be listed into the consignment menu. It’s a matter of doing a little trial and error, to see if you can a particular item.

Some instances where you cannot sell an item:

• You just currently bought the item using the consignment menu. Please allow 24 hours before you can actively re-list the item on sale or trade with other players.
• Most of the equipment marked “Elite” can’t be listed
• Soul of Augmentation (any part) cannot yet be listed on consignment.
• Make sure the item you want to list isn’t marked “Untradeable”. This usual for items received from quests.

It is known that, one of the busiest and annoying parts of the game is the chat interface. Often, you can encounter scene’s where players voice out sad whines and dish out insults to one another. Aside from that, it is also a favorite place for players to flood the chat line with available wares on sale. Although some of these deals can be worth your while, most of them are just too uber expensive to buy, so its probably a good idea to check on the local deals  found in the consignment system.

What Is The Consignment System?

The Eligium PH consignment system is developed to allow players freedom to simply put selected types of goods up for sale. Unlike auction’s where the item for sale is sold to the highest bidder, the consignment system works on a fixed price basis.

Before a player is allowed to use the the consignment system, He/She Must Have:

• A game character that has reached the level 20.

Some Tips Before Putting Up Goods For Sale:

To put up any of the different types of goods for sale, its basically good for a player to have:

• Knowledge on market price. It’s always best to do some research before you start selling, to match your pricing over similar goods that are already sold in the consignment menu. This increases the probability of success in selling your goods quickly.
• The goods to be sold prepared in your inventory or bag space. You can’t consign items that is still in your warehouse.
• Knowledge that some items in the game that can’t be sold using the consignment system.

How Access The Consignment System?

The consignment menu is located on your mini map button on the top right of the game interface. Click the small circle with a stack of gold coins to access.

The Consigned Items

A huge part of the menu consists of the consigned items view box. This is where you can locate the portrait of the items for sale.

Sorting through the rubble of goods:

• Item Name (sorts alphabetically)
• Item Quality (sorts item quality, from high to low or vice versa)
• Item Level (sorts from item level, from high to low or vice versa)
• Time Remaining (sorts items on the available time left for each auction)
• Price (sorts items according to price, from high to low or vice versa)
• Page number (the window is limited to display 10 items, flip to each page to view more items on sale)

Step 2: Login To The Game

• With the newly made game account, log into the game.

Step 3: Create A New Game Character

This is a very crucial stage for players to get the appropriate pet mount. Each type of character has a distinctive pet mount attribute. Make sure it suits your primary game character! Follow the guide below:

• Warrior – Will receive a free pet mount with physical attack bonus.
• Druids –  Will receive a free pet mount with magical point (MP) bonus.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: In creating a new game character, make sure you are on the same faction with your primary game account. Else, you won’t be able to trade items.

Step 4: Reach Level 20 With Your New Game Character

Upon reaching level 20, players would now unlock the quest that allows them to get a pet egg for free.

• Auto route to the quest NPC “Oh My Pet” on your respective main cities.
• Complete the quest and receive the pet mount egg.

Step 5: Hatching The New Pet Mount Egg

Once you received the pet egg, take note that it is bound to the player.

• Incubate the egg for one hour (Equip it on your new game character).

Step 6: The Newly Hatched Pet Mount

After an hour, you new game character should have hatched the incubated egg.

• Take a closer look at the newly hatched pet.
• The newly hatched pet mount is not bound to the player and can be traded to others.

REMEMBER! Do not return the newly hatched pet mount to complete the “Oh My Pet” Quest. If you do, you will have failed to serve the purpose of obtaining a free pet mount. Returning the pet will exchange it for another similar pet that cannot be traded to other players.

Step 7: Dual Log

Dual logging of game accounts is legal in the game (Not stated illegal yet on the terms and conditions).

• Keep the game running on your newly created game character.
• Switch to your desktop and run the Eligium PH game client again.
• Notice that you will now have 2 Eligium PH game client’s running.
• Log in your primary account information on the new game client.

Step 8: Trading With Both Characters

What Do We Need To Properly Grow An Immature Mount?

To enhance the growth of your immature pet mount, the following materials / items are required:

• Immature Amplification Potion
• Immature Rebirth Potion
• Junior Magic Powders
• Wisdom Potion (If successful, this unlock a pet mount’s special ability)
  - Note: Not all pet mount’s have special abilities, so regardless how many times you used wisdom potions, no special ability can be unlocked.
• Immature Digestive Potion (Decreases the durability of a mount, allowing it to be fed immediately)

How To Increase Pet Mount Basic Talents?

With the listed items above, let’s get to know the basics on how to use immature amplification potion on immature pet mount.

• Make sure the pet mount is still “Immature”. Mature mounts are permanent and can no longer be fed to enhance talents.
• Purchase 1 immature rebirth potion
• Purchase 4 immature amplification potions
• Purchase a wisdom potion if you wish (Not guaranteed to unlock hidden talents)
• Equip your immature pet mount.
• Open your inventory or bag space and locate the immature rebirth potion.
• Right click to use the immature rebirth potion.
• Check your immature mount, make sure it has reset itself back to +0
• If this fails, repeat the process by purchasing another immature rebirth potion.
• Once the mount has reset itself back to +0, notice that the type of pet food your immature pet mount has changed. Instead of senior magic powders, junior magic powders are now used to feed.
• REMEMBER! YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE IMMATURE REBIRTH POTIONS ONCE THE PET MOUNT HAS RESET ITSELF TO ZERO.
• Equip your mount until it becomes hungry or use the digestive potion to reduce the durability, allowing you to feed your pet mount.
• Open your mount menu.
  
• Drag 4 immature amplification potions into the 4 empty boxes.
• Click on “Feed” button to start feeding your immature pet mount.
• Notice that the mount receives a +1 for every feeding you make.
• Also the basic talents have a chance to greatly increase.
• Remember to do this in each feeding, have 4 immature amplification potions before you click the feed button.
• Once the immature pet mount reaches over +10, it becomes mature and can no longer be fed along with amplification potions.
• Notice the great increase in your pet mount’s basic talents!

One of the most annoying facts in the game is the limited reservoir of inventory space or slots, found in both your backpack and warehouse. Most of the time, players encounter numerous items and materials in the game, making the process of stockpiling difficult. One of the easiest solution to free up space is to get rid of unwanted equipment, by going through the process of disassembling equipment in Eligium PH, giving you the chance to turn junk into usable materials or gems.

What Types Of Equipment Can Be Disassembled?

Not all types of equipment in the game can go through the process of being disassembled. Players  must also have to note that there is a required minimum equipment level and the type of rarity before going through the process.

Level of Equipment That Can Be Disassembled:

• A piece of equipment or gear must at least be at the level of 20. Regardless of how rare the equipment is. The only option is to just sell the equipment off to NPC characters, if they do not fall into this level category.

The Minimum Rarity Of Equipment:

There are 5 types of equipment rarity in the game which can be identified through the color:

• White – Signifies as a common gear and has no additional bonuses. This type of gear can never be disassembled. Sell this to NPC’s found in the game.
• Blue – Has 2-3 additional bonuses or options found in the gear. This is the minimum rarity of an equipment that can successfully be disassembled.
• Gold – Has 3- 5 bonuses or options found in the gear. Yields a higher chance of gaining more materials.
• Dark Gold *Orange* – Has a good 4-6 bonus options found in the gear and yields the highest chance of obtaining materials and gems, from disassembling.
• Violet – This type of equipment has gone through the process of soul augmentation.

Types Of Equipment That Can Be Disassembled:

• Body armor, robes
• Handguards, wrist guards, bracers
• Boots or any form of footwear
• Leg plates, trousers or leggings
• Weapons (swords, maces, axes, wands, claws, gun lance, bows and more)
• Offhand equipment such as shields, totems, quivers, spellbooks, flagons
• Orbs
• Belts
• Shoulder pads, spaulders

Equipment or Items You Cannot Disassemble:

• Headgear
• Capes (soon to be introduced)
• Trinkets (charms, pendants, rings)
• Fashion items
• Pet Mounts and other pet’s (yes, they still work like equipment)
• Raw materials (manufacturing goods)
• Usable and quest items such as potions, scrolls, etc.

How To Disassemble Equipment?

You can either talk to the disassemble equipment NPC in ELigium PH (n0n playing character) or do it yourself remotely in any map.

Follow the steps:

• Locate any of the available weapon or armor merchant’s in any map (disassembling by way of NPC). Select “Disassemble the items” dialogue.
  
• Open your inventory or bag space, locate and click the “Disassemble” option just below the menu. (disassembling remotely).
  
• A new menu should pop-out with six boxes in it.
  
• Open your inventory or bag (if this hasn’t opened automatically).
• Locate the appropriate gear to be disassembled.
• Drag the gear into any of the empty boxes.
• You can disassemble 1 or a maximum of 6 equipment simultaneously.
• Make sure your not disassembling any of the good stuff your keeping.
• Click on the disassemble button to start the process.
• Your disassembled equipment will disappear permanently after the process.
• Check your inventory or read on the system message on the materials you received from disassembling.

* Rumors spread in the game that, players gain a better chance to yield more items through the NPC, rather than disassembling it yourself.

Possible Materials You Can Receive From Disassembling Equipment:

• Magic Powders (ranges from junior to senior)
• Ores
• Gems (ranges from the basic gem to gem I)
